This month guest presenter Paul Bates, National Manager of Training and Education for SFC member UL Environment will discuss Gaining Marketplace Recognition for Healthier, More Sustainable Furnishings. 
His presentation reviews the impact of indoor air pollution on human health, how low-emitting products can contribute to healthier indoor environments, and how manufacturers can gain recognition in the marketplace for low-emitting products.  Additionally, the presentation will cover various regulatory requirements in North America that apply to furniture manufacturers, such as Proposition 65 and CPSIA testing, and sustainability offerings that can help manufacturers demonstrate leadership in the marketplace.
