SFC Consumer Research - Panel Discussion + Lunch

Join prominent retailers Mitchell Gold of Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Steve Freeman of Room & Board and Peggy Burns of Circle Furniture, as they discuss current SFC research findings with Bob George of Impact Consulting.

Sustainable Furnishings Council hosts a luncheon and panel discussion of their 2013 Green Home Furnishings Study, their 5th annual study of the subject.  The study was sponsored by Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams and conducted by Impact Consulting.  The survey results show that consumers are more and more aware of environmental issues, but they need to be educated about their choices in home furnishings.  Though 55% of those surveyed had bought eco-friendly products in 2012, only 10% had bought eco-friendly home furnishings products, being unaware of the options available to them.  30% of them would pay up to 10% more for eco-options.  Learn how leading retailers are getting the message out, and about how their business is effected.
