Performance fabrics have never been so popular. Consumers and designers love to be able to spill with impunity. But what are the other results of our choosing fabrics that are made stain-resistant with the addition of highly fluorinated chemicals? with Tom Bruton, Senior Science and Policy Fellow at the Green Science Policy Institute. Tom is an environmental engineer and his research has focused on cleanup of chemical contaminants, including PFAS, in soil and groundwater. While performance fabrics are only one use of these chemicals, this discussion enlightens us as to where some of our responsibility lies.

Content included a synopsis of GREENleaders, the industry's first certified sustainability training course. This webinar gave participants useful information to begin using in their business immediately as well as answer any questions they had about getting the most out of a SFC membership.
