Textiles and Water: What You and Your Company Need to Understand
Tuesday, June 4 at 10 AM EST
Suites at Market Square - Top Floor - Seminar Room
High Point, NC

Only 1% of the water on our planet is fresh water - that is all we have for our agro-industrial processes, not to mention bathing, cooking, and drinking for 7.7 billion people.

What does that have to do with us in textile production?

Textile production accounts for more toxic waste pollution of water than any other industry. Harmful chemicals are used in growing natural fibers AND in creating synthetic fibers. Dangerous chemicals are also used in processing the fiber into thread, making the fabric, and finishing the cloth.

Please join Susan Inglis, Executive Director of the Sustainable Furnishings Council, for this important presentation to get clear on the difference your company can make, and on how to position yourself for success in the future. She will share some fascinating facts and figures, as well as perspective you can use when making business development decisions!
