As a green-from-the-ground-up company, our focus has, from the first day, focused on re-envisioning and recreating retail such that every store is a green store. The original WorkingWonders mission envisioned the development of a recognized national brand "Whole Homes" counterpart to Whole Foods, a "Greeningdales" for our time - as the strategy to promote sustainable practices as the new "best" across a large number of consumer product sectors. The existing plan for the environmentally safe department store called for products to be showcased in a flagship Platinum LEED building. If, as it is now 2020 and we are in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, such a time returns where people can safely shop in department stores, WorkingWonders™ would promote a shopping experience that will resonate with the now much enlarged demographic niche that made Whole Foods a successful brand and catalyzed a sea change for healthier food. This year we have been and will continue to refocus our actions to further allow for a seamless green department store shopping experience online. WorkingWonders™ is looking to update our website and continue tweaking our social media with the intention of introducing environmentally safe products and information about these products to consumers in such a way that they feel empowered to create healthier homes for themselves and their families.
