Regal Fabrics creates beautiful woven and printed upholstery fabrics that are designed and copyrighted in the US and manufactured in Europe and China under exclusive agreements with weaving mills. Our design studio and operations are based in Middleton Massachusetts where our large inventory supplies thousands of furniture and home furnishings manufacturers and fabric distributors.

In keeping with our commitment to continual improvement, we are planning to take the following actions this year: On reducing energy consumption:

We have recently moved into a new facility which was purpose built for us in 2019. In doing so, we were able to purchase and implement entirely LED lightbulbs, install high efficiency sensors in every room, and make sure we were both up to code and going above and beyond to decrease our energy consumption in our operation.

In addition, we are continually looking for ways to improve our energy consumption, including re-setting our warehouse lighting with motion sensors that will make portions of the warehouse dark at any given time.

We continually look to consolidate any shipments from overseas as much as we possibly can in order to have a smaller global energy/carbon footprint.

In keeping with our commitment to continual improvement, we are planning to take the following actions this year: On how we will manage our primary material or service to a more sustainable direction:

In 2021 we are introducing a new standing line which will feature only products that are 50%+ natural or recycled fiber.

In doing so, we are also working more with USA based mills using organic cotton to create product for that line. By making products which have the entire supply chain in the USA, our overall footprint and sustainability increases immensely.

We are exploring opportunities to up-cycle more of the remnants that we have around our office and warehouse. We currently sell almost everything we bring in, even at an extreme loss in order to make sure most everything that comes into our building ends up in use somewhere. The next step is finding someone who will use the even smaller pieces. We will get those pieces to the organization at our own cost.

With the introduction of our new line, we will begin educating our customers more on the entire supply chain and the ways that these new products can increase sustainability inside of their own businesses.
